Mani has been around for about 30 million years and it still grips its visitors with its wild and unbowed beauty. One of the most famous traditional villages in Mani is Gerolimenas, a place lying just by the rocky sea. It is an old commercial port with picturesque taverns on the sea. It has about 100 inhabitants and is located in Mesa Mani, on the east side of Cape Grosso.
